Details as Chelsea set to complete signing of Kai Havertz and Tiago Silva this week

Chelsea have made breakthrough in their pursuit of Brazilian and PSG defender Tiago Silva and Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz.

Both players would be Chelsea players this week after deals for both players have been reportedly agreed.

For Tiago Silva who on Sunday he played his last game in Paris Saint-Germain colours in their 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich in a Champions League final.

As a free agent he had offers from other clubs but the soon to become 36-year-old defender who could still caught it at top turned down other clubs to accept Chelsea offer.

Thiago Silva reportedly took a massive cut on his current weekly wages to sign agree a two year deal with Chelsea.

According to Fabrizio Romano he has taken a wage cut from €305,000 per week to €115,000 (€6M/season) and would sign a contract until June 202.

Similarly, Kai Havertz would also join Chelsea after The London club agreed a fee with Bayer Leverkusen.

Romano revealed that the total package is €100m plus add-ons with Chelsea paying €80m up pront and €20 as add-ons.

He also confirmed that After Thiago signing, Chelsea will consider to loan Tomori (Ligue1 chances – many clubs interested) and Bakayoko to AC Milan (advanced talks) then Emerson Palmieri, so they’ll complete Ben Chilwell deal with Leicester.
