Real Madrid have identified Inter Milan forward as one of their options as a replacement for their ageing striker Karim Benzema.
Romelu Lukaku looked re-born under the tutelage of Antonio Conte, scoring 33 goals in 50 games and on on pace to matching Ronaldo de Lima record.
The Belgian has called attention to himself after leading Inter Milan to an Europa League final and a second place finish in the Serie A with a point behind champions Juventus.
And according to Le 10 Sport, the Belgium international’s could also end up in Real Madrid just as Ronaldo de Lima as he has caught the attention of the Spanish giants.
Although, the report also claimed that he is not Real Madrid’s first and second choices as that remained Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Braut Haaland.
But the former Manchester United is right behind those two and could be Real Madrid’s last option should they fail to get any of those aforementioned strikers.
Benzema scored 27 goals and registered 11 assists during another impressive season for Madrid, but the Frenchman will be 33 later this year and his contract is due to expire in June 2022.
