Former Super Eagles attacker Etor Daniel has opened his goal scoring account for his new club Mucat Club in Oman.
Etor Daniel who recently joined the Muscat based club from Salalah based outfit Al Nasr recovered from an injury that kept him out of action for weeks to help Muscat to a league win on Tuesday.
Etor Daniel was on target as Muscat club bounced back from a loss to secure a 2-0 win against Al Suwaiq in an Omani top league game.
Etor Daniel opened the scoring in the 55th minute with a fine striker before Beckey completed the rout in the 85th minute.
Daniel told sportsration.com after the match in a chat that he was delighted to be back on the pitch and most importantly helping his side to a win on his return.
“Glad to be back on my feet again. It was hard watching from the sidelines but thank God I am back with my teammates.
“Feels good to return to the pitch with a bang and most importantly get a win. Unto the next one.”
Etor Daniel’s Muscat Club now have 10 points from 6 games and are presently occupying the 6th spot on the Omani league table.
