Nigerians Abroad: Semi, Onuachu, Bonaventure, Osimhen, Adegbenro, Akpom, Ladapo, Eze & Aruna on target; Agu, Kayode assist

It was a great weekend for Nigerian players abroad has they piled in goals across Europe.

Red-hot Victor Osimhen lead the park, Dennis Bonaventure scored what could be the goal of the season, Eberechi Eze, Chuba Akpom, Haruna Garba and Freddie Ladapo were all on target.

France

Victor Osimhen (Lille)

Fresh from his Eagles strike in Nigeria’s 2-2 draw against Ukraine; Victor Osimhen scored in Lille 2-1 win against Angers. The goal was his 5th in his 5th Ligue 1 appearances.

Josh Maja, Samuel Kalu ( Bordeaux)

Samuel Kalu was on the pitch from the beginning to end in Bordeaux win against Metz. Josh Maja also played his part in the clash.

Norway

Samuel Adegbenro (Rosenborg)

Samuel Adegbenro was on target as Rosenborg beat Lillestrom 3-1 in the Norwegian Eliteserien league on Saturday.

Ifeanyi Matthew ( Lillestrom)

Ifeanyi Matthew was on the pitch but couldn’t stop his side from losing 3-1 to Rosenborg.

Dennis Bonaventure, David Okereke (Club Brugge)

Super Eagles newbie Dennis Bonaventure scored a screamer in Club Brugge 2-0 win at Cercle Brugge in the Brugges derby.

His compatriot David Okereke was also in action for Club Brugges.

Paul Onuachu (Genk)
Tall Eagles striker Paul Onuachu opened his account in Genk’s 2-1 away loss to Sporting Charleroi.

The former Midtjylland striker scored a from a diving header. His compatriot, Stephen Odey was not listed for the game.

Orji Okonkwo (Impact Montreal)

Orji Okonkwo put in a show but not enough as Impact Montreal go down to Cicinnati 1-0 on Saturday in the MLS.

Mikel Agu (Victoria Guimaraes)

Mikel Agu provided an assist in Victoria Guimaraes 5-1 win against Aves in a Portugal Primera Liga game.

Peter Olayinka (Slavia Prague)

Peter Olayinka played for 69 minutes in Slavia Prague win against Slovacko in a Fortunaliga game.

Larry Kayode (Gazisehir)

Daniel Akpeyi (Kaizer Chief)

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi gave away a penalty, the penalty was the only goal of the match resulting in Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 home loss to Polokwane City a PSG game on Saturday.

Chuba Akpom (Paok)

Former Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom scored his second goal of the season in the Greece Superleague in PAOK 3-2 win against Atromitos Athens.

Haruna Garba (Debreceni)

Haruna Garba was on target for Debreceni as they fell to a 3-2 loss to Ujpest in a league game played on Saturday.

Freddie Ladapo (Rotherham)

Freddie Ladapo scored twice to help Rotherham to a 6-1 win against Bolton in a league one match on Saturday.

Semi Ajayi (West Brom)

The Super Eagles versatile player scored the equalising goal for West Brom in their 1-1 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Eberechi Eze (QPR)

Eberechi Eze continued his good form with his 3rd goal of the season for QPR. He was on target for QPR in their 3-2 win over Luton Town in the English Championship game.
