Super Eagles striker Odion Jude Ighalo has won the 2019 AFCON top scorers award.

The Shanghai Shenshua striker beat off competitions from Algeria and Senegal stars Riyad Mahrez and Saido Mane to win the gong.

Odion Ighalo who recently announced his retirement from International football scored a total of five goals to claim the award.

The former Watford striker is finished as the 2019 AFCON qualifiers top scorer.
