Onuachu snaps two-game drought to bag 15th league goal of the season

Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has ended his two-game drought by scoring his 15th league of the season on Sunday.

The Nigerian striker who has been in fine form failed to score in any of Genk’s last two games.

But returned to scoring form at the Luminus Arena in Genk’s 1-1 draw against Waasland-Beveren in a Belgian Pro League game.

Paul Onuachu opened the scoring in the 24th minute before Aboubakary Koita equalised for the visitors in the 45th minute.

The game didn’t produce any other goal despite the introduction of Cyriel Dessers for Paul Onuachu in the 84th minute.

Paul Onuachu with 15 league goals remains top of the scorer’s chat with two more goals than the nearest person.
