Other issues delaying Sancho’s Man Utd move apart from transfer fee

Jadon Sancho’s move to Manchester United could be further delayed even when The Reds Devil and Borussia Dortmund agree on a fee.

For a while, we had been told that Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund’s failure to find an agreement over a transfer fee was all left for this deal to materialise.

In fact, reports suggested that Jadon Sancho had agreed personal terms with Manchester United but, according to fresh reports, both parties are still far apart.

The Red Devils continue to be linked with the 20-year-old, but BVB have insisted on a number of occasions since returning to pre-season training that the England international will not be leaving the club.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the 20-time English champions are yet to make a breakthrough in discussions over the attacker’s proposed salary and agent’s fees.

The report claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are determined not to overpay either Sancho or the agent, having previously done so in the deals involving Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez.

United are allegedly refusing to give up on a deal for the former Manchester City youngster, but it remains to be seen whether they can agree personal terms with the player and a transfer fee with Dortmund.

Sancho enjoyed an excellent 2019-20 campaign for Lucien Favre’s side, scoring 20 times and registering 20 assists in 44 appearances in all competitions.

Liverpool are also said to be keeping a close eye on developments.
