Arsenal’s David Raya recently clinched his first Premier League Golden Glove award, joining an esteemed group of goalkeepers who have excelled in the league’s history.

David Raya secured his spot in the club with his stellar performance in the 2023/24 season for Arsenal.

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar claimed the award in the 2008/09 season during the Red Devils’ Premier League triumph.

Arsenal’s Wojciech Szczesny and Chelsea’s Petr Cech shared the honor in the 2013/14 season, both keeping 16 clean sheets.

Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois also earned the Golden Glove in the 2016/17 season with 16 clean sheets.

David de Gea, Alisson Becker – 2

Manchester United’s David de Gea won the Golden Glove twice, in the 2017/18 and 2022/23 seasons, with 18 and 17 clean sheets respectively.

Liverpool’s Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker clinched the award in the 2018/19 and 2021/22 campaigns, tallying 21 and 20 clean sheets.

Ederson, Pepe Reina – 3

Manchester City’s Ederson secured the Golden Glove three times in a row, in the 2019/20, 2020/21, and 2021/22 seasons, boasting 16, 19, and 20 clean sheets respectively.

Liverpool’s Pepe Reina also won the accolade thrice consecutively from 2005/06 to 2007/08, with 20, 19, and 18 clean sheets respectively.

Joe Hart, Petr Cech – 4

Manchester City’s Joe Hart and Chelsea/Arsenal’s Petr Cech top the charts with four Golden Gloves each.

Hart claimed his awards consecutively from 2011 to 2013, adding another in the 2014/15 season.

Cech, a stalwart for Chelsea and Arsenal, won his Golden Gloves in the 2004/05, 2009/10, 2013/14 seasons with Chelsea, and the 2015/16 campaign with Arsenal.
