Samuel Chukwueze rewarded for stellar 2018-19 season

Samuel Chukwueze’s outstanding 2018-19 season for the Yellow Submarines have been recognised as the Nigerian received an award on Tuesday.

The 19-year-old who is one of the most sought after talents in Europe was rewarded with the breakout of the season award.

Samuel Chukwueze scored five goals in 26 league games including key goals towards the end of the season to help Villarreal avoid relegation.

While Samuel Chukwueze named the breakout player; former Arsenal maestro Santi Cazorla was named Villarreal’s best player of the season while Toko Ekambi received a award as the club’s top scorer.

Samuel Chukwueze has started the new season on high after putting his name on the scorers chat in Villarreal’s 4-4 draw against Granada over the weekend.
