Star-boy Lamine Yamal replies Adrien Rabiot after Euro 2024 win

Spanish sensation Lamine Yamal has sent a strong message to Adrien Rabiot following his outstanding performance against France in the Euro 2024 semifinals.

Yamal, who has been a standout player in the tournament after his breakout season with Barcelona, scored a spectacular equalizer to help Spain beat the 2018 World Cup winners.

The 16-year-old was singled out by French star Adrien Rabiot before the match, who warned that Yamal would need to exert significantly more effort to make an impact against France.

Rabiot said, “It is always complicated to manage a semi-final in a tournament like this, but it will be up to us to put the pressure on him [Yamal] above all. Not to let him feel comfortable and to show him that to play in a Euro final, he will have to do much more than what he has done so far.”

In response, Yamal posted on Instagram before the game, saying, “Move in silence. Only speak when it is time to say checkmate.” He then went on to prove Rabiot wrong on the field by scoring a stunning equalizer, canceling out Randal Kolo Muani’s opener for France. During his celebration, Yamal faced the camera and delivered a cheeky message, “Speak now, speak now!”

After the game, Yamal addressed the situation at the press conference, saying, “Well, the person that I am talking about, this person will know who this person is and I’m just really happy about reaching the final and really happy about my team.”

Spain will now play the winner of the England vs. Holland match in the Euro 2024 final.
