Super Eagles keeper Maduka Okoye shines in debut game for Sparta Rotterdam

Super Eagles keeper Maduka Okoye played well in his first competitive game for Sparta Rotterdam.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper joined Dutch club this summer and was yet to feature for his new side in any competitive game until tonight.

Maduka Okoye who has been on the bench in his sides previous league games was called upon for Sparta Rotterdam in their KNVB cup tie with ADO Den Haag.

He was in goal from the beginning to the end of the match as Sparta Rotterdam lose via penalty shootout to ADO Den Haag.

Maduka Okoye made five saves, made three saves inside box and generally gave a good account of himself.
