Tottenham close in on Reguilon signing as Man Utd unwilling to agree to Madrid demands

Tottenham are very close to signing Manchester United left back target, Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid.

The London club are reportedly set to be closing in on a deal for the Spanish international after meeting his clubs various demands.

According to transfer experts David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano the fee agreed between Tottenham and Real Madrid is said to be in the region of €30m.

While they also said Manchester United would have no problem paying the same amount, The Reds are unwilling to agree to Real Madrid’s demands which Tottenham had no problem with.

Real Madrid are said to be willing to sell Sergio Reguilon to any club who would accept a buy back clause and first refusal on the player.

Tottenham have reportedly agreed to these clauses while Manchester United are unwilling to agree to such demands, hence, the reason the player is reportedly close to the London move instead of Manchester.

The ball is now left in Sergio Reguilon court as both clubs have reportedly agree terms.

As it stands, Reguilon has agreed personal terms with Manchester United but no agreement between The Reds and Madrid.

Also, Tottenham have agreed deal with Real Madrid but yet to agree personal terms with the player.
