Victor Osimhen Scores Again as Galatasaray Beat Göztepe

Victor Osimhen continued his fine start to the season as Galatasaray defeated Göztepe 3–2 at home on Saturday night.

The Nigerian striker scored from the penalty spot after he was fouled inside the box, taking his Super Lig tally to five goals this season.

Osimhen also had another goal ruled out for offside and provided an assist as Galatasaray secured another important victory.

After the final whistle, Osimhen warmly welcomed his friend and new Galatasaray signing Rafael Leão, who joined the Turkish champions from AC Milan.

Leão spoke highly of his relationship with the Nigerian after arriving in Istanbul.

“Victor Osimhen and I are good friends and we will do great things for Galatasaray.”

Osimhen and Leão previously played together at French club Lille.

The two friends will now link up again at Galatasaray as the Turkish champions look to defend their league title.
