Bayelsa State Government Appoints Committee to Manage Bayelsa United

The Bayelsa State Government has set up a five-man committee to oversee the affairs of Bayelsa United for the next six months as part of efforts to strengthen the management of the Nigeria National League (NNL) club.
The announcement was made on Wednesday by the Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Dr Peter Akpe, during his address at the ongoing Prosperity Cup competition.
According to the Deputy Governor, the committee has been given the responsibility of managing the affairs of Bayelsa United over the next six months.
Dr Peter Singabele will serve as the chairman of the committee. Other members include Sir Braveman Wodi, Mr Godson Ekarde and Mr Ono K. Akpe, while Mr Ken Akpolaemi Odogu will serve as the secretary.
The appointment is expected to provide administrative leadership and support for Bayelsa United as the club prepares for the upcoming football season.
Further details regarding the committee’s terms of reference and immediate priorities are expected to be announced by the Bayelsa State Government in due course.
