Chelsea to get extra fund should Jérémie Boga joins Napoli from Sassoulo

Chelsea set for huge cash boost if Jérémie Boga joins Napoli this summer Sassoulo.

The 23-year-old Ivorian is reportedly closing on a move to Napoli who are willing to sign the Ivorian attacker.

According to reports from Italy Napoli have reportedly met with his agents and have offered him €1.8m plus a €400,000 Champions bonus for 5 seasons.

While everything looks fine on the personal terms with the players, Napoli are yet to agreed a fee with Sassoulo.

Jérémie Boga is valued at €40m by Sassoulo but Napoli are only willing offering €25m and Amin Younes whom they valued at €15m.

Sassoulo like the idea of getting Amin Younes as part of the deal but do not agree with Napoli’s €15m of the German player.

Regardless of whatever fee would be agreed between Sassoulo and Napoli, Chelsea are due profit from deal thanks to their smart move few weeks back.

When Chelsea sold Jérémie Boga to Sassoulo in 2018 for a reported fee of £3.5m, a £13m buy back clause was included in the deal.

But Chelsea not willing to activate the buy-back clause, negotiated a sell-on-clause with the Italian side back in May.

For this reason, Chelsea would be due percentage sell on any deal taking Boga away from Sassoulo.

The exact percentage due Chelsea is not known but should Sassoulo successfully sell the former France U-21 attacker for the reported fee of €40m, the London club would be due more than £5m.

Boga is not short of suitors has Juventus and Borussia Dortmund have all also been linked with the 23-year-old.
