ITTF Open: Timo Boll ends Aruna Quadri’s hopes

Africa and Nigerian star Aruna Quadri has been sent out of the 2020 ITTF Open currently on going in Germany.

Aruna Quadri who made the main draw after a 4-3 victory against Finland’s Olah Benedek in the last qualifying game, came short against Timo Ball.

Just as he did against Olah Benedek coming back from a 3-0 deficit to claim a 4-3 win, Aruna after going down 3-0 ( 11-5, 11-2, 11-9) Timo Ball, was able to crawl back just two games ( 3-11, 8-11).

Timo Ball, the tournament favourite took the sixth game ( 11-8) to claim a 4-2 win for a place in the last 16.
