Squid Game director Hwang Dong-hyuk hits back at LeBron over series criticism

Squid Game director Hwang Dong-hyuk has hit back La Lakers and NBA great LeBron James over his criticism of his series.

The drama series which can be found on Netflix is currently the most talked about and most watched film of any form.

Squid Game focuses on contestants competing in a deadly game show for money.

The director said he has no problem with the way he ended the series and that LeBron James can do a sequel, ending the series his way.

LeBron James was seen in a clip discussing the series with his Lakers teammate Antony Davis where he complained about the ending of the series.

“LeBron James is cool and can say what he wants. I respect that,” says Hwang Dong-hyuk when he was quizzed about the NBA star’s comment.

“I’m very thankful he watched the whole series. But I wouldn’t change my ending. That’s my ending.

“If he has his own ending that would satisfy him, maybe he could make his own sequel.

“I’ll check it out and maybe send him a message saying, ‘I liked your whole show, except the ending.”

Fans have reminded LeBron James that he also endured below average performances in the finals losing six times and winning just four times.

LeBron James endured two-career sweep, his Cleveland were beaten 4-0 by Spurs and Warriors in 2007 and 2018. He lost the finals to Dallas Mavericks in 2011, he lost the final series 4-1 to Spurs in 2014.

The Golden State Warriors led by Stephen Curry denied him two titles in 2015 and 2017.
