SIR MONTY FC: New Club arrives the Nigerian football scene
To debut in the 2021/2022 Nationwide league One.
A Frontline Hospitality group SIR MONTY has concluded plans to debut in the Nigerian football scene with the birth of SIR MONTY FC.
According to a source privy to information within the new club, the Nigerian football federation and relevant football bodies have completed registration procedures to allow for SIR MONTY FC Ikpe Mbak Eyop, Obot Akara local Government area of Akwa Ibom state to participate in the 2021/2022 Nigerian football season.
SIR MONTY FC will debut in the Nigerian Nationwide league One. Less than an hour after news dropped of the arrival of the new club, football enthusiasts and fans have taken to social media to applauded the management of Sir Monty group for joining the growing list of private bodies investing in the Football industry in Nigeria.
They however appealed to Sir Monty group to transmit the same excellence exhibited in the Hospitality sector in the new team as Nigeria continues to grow past the era where football clubs were solely owned and funded by Government.
Official communication from the management of the new club is expected in the coming days.
