Dakkada FC appoint Emmanuel Ntuk as new Head Coach
Dakkada FC have officially announced the appointment of Emmanuel Ntuk as the new Head Coach ahead of the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
Ntuk, who was previously Head Coach of Ibom Youth Football Club, is returning for a second stint at Dakkada FC. The Uyo-born tactician has a rich history with the club, having previously served as Technical Adviser when the team was known as Akwa Starlets.
In their statement, Dakkada FC said:
“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Emmanuel Ntuk as our new Head Coach. Until this appointment, Mr Ntuk was the Head Coach of Ibom Youth Football Club. The Uyo-born tactician is returning on a second stint at our club having previously served as Technical Adviser of Akwa Starlets, as we used to be known. He also previously worked as Head Coach/CEO of Greater Tomorrow Academy, Police Machine, and Emlo FC, Uyo.
We wish him tremendous success on his new assignment.”

Ibom Youth FC, Ntuk’s former club, also confirmed the news with their own statement:
“Nigeria National League club, Dakkada FC, have announced the appointment of our Coach, Emmanuel Ntuk, as their new Head Coach. Ibom Youth FC receives this news with cheer and wishes Coach Emmanuel Ntuk good luck at his new club.”

Ntuk will replace Emmanuel King, who led Dakkada FC through the 2023/2024 season. The club will now begin preparations for the upcoming NNL season.
Meanwhile, SportsRation exclusively gathered that an open screening for new players will start on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Uyo Township Stadium at 9:00 AM.
The 2024/2025 Nigeria National League season will kickoff on November 30, 2024.
